The building is approx. 50 years old and needs renovation inside and out. We are trying to replace the furniture with new ones, but there are still a lot of old pieces.

Students are accommodated in double rooms. We cannot provide each student their own room. The residents clean and keep the room themselves. There is a sink and a built-in wardrobe in the foyer of the rooms. The rooms have a refrigerator and a network socket. (The residents of the room are advised to get a router.) Room accessories: wall shelves, table, two chairs, two small (nightstand) drawers. Those who move in will also receive pillows, quilts, bed covers and sheets. Covers and sheets can be changed every two weeks free of charge. They can also use their own bed linen and covers of course.

Each floor has a lounge (with TV) and a shared kitchen (with electric stove and microwave). Everyone uses their own utensils and tools. The bathrooms (showers, toilets) are also shared. There is an industrial washing machine on the 7th floor, for which you can buy a token at the door for HUF 400. (Only card payments are possible.) Dormitory students may also use the computer room, sports room, and club on the ground floor. There is a closed bicycle storage in the yard. We cannot provide or rent bicycles. There is no buffet or canteen in the building, we do not provide meals. There is a coffee machine on the ground floor.

The Faculty's main building is located approx. 700 meters from the Dormitory building. The Faculty’s library is also there. A grocery store and two restaurants can be found within 500 meters.

How to get to the Dormitory:

From the railway station of Szeged: Take tram no.2 and get off at Széchenyi tér (“Széchenyi square”). Walk through the square and get on bus no.71, no.71/A, no.72, or no.72/A. Get off bus no.71 or no.71/A at the stop labelled Közép fasor (“Middle Treeline”). Get off bus no.72 or no.72/A at the stop labelled Bal fasor (“Left Treeline”).
From the bus terminal of Szeged (Mars tér): you can take the same buses and get off at the same stops without transfer.
